The traditional Chinese 马褂 (mandarin jacket?) over the dress pulls off really well. It brings out the cute tomboyness with that certain exotic oriental myth. I wish I had one, or would it still be a myth? :p
helping out at a bridal gown shoot
I had no idea how hard it is to get things right when there is a professional model. It was a good learning experience helping my photographer friend lulu with her bridal collection shoot. There are more photos to come 🙂

This was a bold snap as I just walked up to the big bunch before hopping on the train. Autumn maple leaves in a bouquet, how beautiful.
I tried a few cheeky shots without her noticing me. Red hair and sunflowers in the winter sunlight. We need more flowers on platforms 🙂

Rita helped me to finally speak to the lady and asked her if she could pose for me. She has this serenity to her that reminds me of a character in Hou Hsiao Hsien films.
